Summary: Australian genealogist and former library assistant at the Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies in the Melbourne suburb of Blackburn, Australia who was among one of more than 300 people believed to be missing and feared dead in a series of bushfires that ignited or were burning across the Australian state of Victoria on February 7, 2009 killing at least 170 people including her husband Harley Morgan and also seriously injured more than 400 others when the blaze destroyed their country holiday home in the Kinglake West area during extreme weather conditions, in which it became one of the worst bushfire disasters ever recorded in Australian history that has become widely referred to as Black Saturday.
